Victor Rio might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rigoberto Ilixo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Rio ran back to his position shaking his head. 11 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Ihazintu came free, but Orlando Leoiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Anacleto Maore notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Astros de México's Rigoberto Ilixo. Rigoberto Ilixo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Astros de México getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ivan Libertad hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Rio got free with Rigoberto Ilixo in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orlando Leoiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Ihazintu in the 20th minute of the match. Orlando Leoiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Dimo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Raul Frantzes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Equipo's Raul Frantzes got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Orlando Leoiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Sidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Orlando Leoiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Soter in the 26th minute of the match. Equipo's Orlando Leoiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Calixto in the 28th minute of play. Rigoberto Ilixo was a little too slow when Anacleto Maore got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 2-0. 39 minutes into the game, Florentino Eufemio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Rigoberto Ilixo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute, Victor Rio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Equipo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 46 minutes into the match, Astros de México's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Eufemio came free, but Rigoberto Ilixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquin Soter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Hurko hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Leonardo Jaume charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonardo Jaume the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leonardo Jaume kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Eufemio in the 77th minute of play forced Astros de México's goalkeeper Rigoberto Ilixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rigoberto Ilixo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florentino Eufemio's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 84th minute, Victor Rio made a precise shot to the right of Rigoberto Ilixo. Astros de México's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anacleto Maore in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rigoberto Ilixo saved Astros de México from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Maore in the 89th minute of play forced Astros de México's goalkeeper Rigoberto Ilixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Astros de México booed when Equipo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Maore didn't get a good kick on the ball.
