Albino Chayo lost his temper 3 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 3rd match minute, Titanes Mayas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Chayo to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Lázaro Jeraldo managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Dromes FC's Ciro Gorri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ciro Gorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Lázaro Jeraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteban Cebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teo Estavan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the game, Titanes Mayas's Teo Estavan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeremias Fortun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Silvio Eguen's late challenge caught a Dromes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvio Eguen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Titanes Mayas's Silvio Eguen got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Narciso Cristofol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dromes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Cristofol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Titanes Mayas's Lázaro Jeraldo got control of the ball when Narciso Cristofol tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Cristofol got free with Lázaro Jeraldo in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Titanes Mayas booed when Dromes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Inautzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raul Txomin struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Jeremias Fortun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Titanes Mayas. When Teo Estavan fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Titanes Mayas's protests and gave Teo Estavan a yellow card for diving instead. 46 minutes into the game, Narciso Cristofol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Lázaro Jeraldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Jeremias Fortun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teo Estavan's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Teo Estavan took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeremias Fortun. Jeremias Fortun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Teo Estavan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64thth minute of the game Teo Estavan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dromes FC's Jeremias Fortun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Titanes Mayas's Teo Estavan got a free kick in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Gorri in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lázaro Jeraldo saved Titanes Mayas from getting behind. When Teo Estavan came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Titanes Mayas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Estavan couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, Dromes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Estavan came free, but Jeremias Fortun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teo Estavan got in the 86th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jeremias Fortun handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teo Estavan in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Fortun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Teo Estavan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Dromes FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Titanes Mayas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
