After 10 played minutes Vampiros Aztecas got a freekick which was hit by Roman Seguinus. Jonas Rik kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Asur in the 18th minute of play forced Vampiros Aztecas's goalkeeper Jeremias Orzaize to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Orzaize showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Asur in the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Melquiades Peruxu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias Orzaize. Vampiros Aztecas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melquiades Peruxu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Christian Asur kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Ildefonso Ponce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Celestino Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Vampiros Aztecas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cacomixtles de Queretaro were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Jonas Rik made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Urbano Urtun got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute of the match Ildefonso Ponce shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicasio Araoz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jeremias Orzaize made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alonzo Kelemen in the 55th minute. Nicasio Araoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Rik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicasio Araoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Rik in the 62nd minute of the match. Jeremias Orzaize took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Asur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melquiades Peruxu got free with Jeremias Orzaize in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vampiros Aztecas's Jeremias Orzaize proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Vampiros Aztecas from getting a goal against them. Ildefonso Ponce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Nicasio Araoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Roman Seguinus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roman Seguinus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Christian Asur dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Jonas Rik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cacomixtles de Queretaro played a much better game than Vampiros Aztecas and deserved their victory. The Vampiros Aztecas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
