After 13 minutes of play, Titanes Mayas's Ubaldo Urtungo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvano Benat was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 22 played minutes Titanes Mayas got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Karlo. A collision led to Titanes Mayas getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Raul Txomin hit a great ball. Gustavo Lizar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lázaro Jeraldo. Titanes Mayas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teo Estavan in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvano Benat saved Hermosillo FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Teo Estavan put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Silvano Benat. In the 74th minute, Gustavo Lizar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hermosillo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Titanes Mayas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cecilio Afonso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4.
