Jeremias Fortun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Asur in the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Dromes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Formerio came free, but Jeremias Fortun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Esteban Cebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Araoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeo Sein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Nicasio Araoz made a huge save. 17 minutes into the match, Melquiades Peruxu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias Fortun. Dromes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melquiades Peruxu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Domingo Alvarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Nicasio Araoz made a huge save. Nicasio Araoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Cebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Dromes FC defense, Melquiades Peruxu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremias Fortun. The Dromes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Fortun should have stopped the shot. Jeremias Fortun came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Isaac Quinten. But to his dismay, Isaac Quinten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some careless play in the Dromes FC defense, Melquiades Peruxu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremias Fortun. The Dromes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Fortun should have stopped the shot. With his leg Nicasio Araoz managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Dromes FC's Amadeo Sein fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 44 minutes into the match, Melquiades Peruxu notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Dromes FC's Jeremias Fortun. Jeremias Fortun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rolando Oto hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Dromes FC's Jeremias Fortun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Dromes FC from getting a goal against them. If Amadeo Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Dromes FC's goalkeeper Jeremias Fortun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haroldo Formerio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Sein in the 62nd minute of play forced Cacomixtles de Queretaro's goalkeeper Nicasio Araoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Amadeo Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaac Quinten charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaac Quinten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Cacomixtles de Queretaro got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Juvenal. Mauricio Duarte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicasio Araoz having to make a save. Amadeo Sein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Melquiades Peruxu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cacomixtles de Queretaro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Haroldo Formerio scored 0-7 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremias Fortun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christian Asur struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Jeremias Fortun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cacomixtles de Queretaro. Melquiades Peruxu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Jeremias Fortun made a huge save. In the 90th minute Christian Asur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Fortun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cacomixtles de Queretaro booed when Dromes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Alvarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
