The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Karlo got free with Silvano Benat in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvio Eguen kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Titanes Mayas's zone, Joaquin Mano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Jeraldo came out of the goal and Joaquin Mano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Teo Estavan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermosillo FC's Silvano Benat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Hermosillo FC from getting a goal against them. Titanes Mayas's Lázaro Jeraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Primeiro in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusebio Calvet during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eusebio Calvet hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Adan Peli's late challenge caught a Titanes Mayas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adan Peli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, Hermosillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Peli to maneuver through the defense. In the 27thth minute of the game Teo Estavan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hermosillo FC's Silvano Benat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Hermosillo FC booed when Titanes Mayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Brun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Teo Estavan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Benat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Lluc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lázaro Jeraldo was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teo Estavan to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Raul Txomin notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Hermosillo FC's Silvano Benat. Silvano Benat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eusebio Calvet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Lázaro Jeraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Titanes Mayas's Lázaro Jeraldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Titanes Mayas from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the game, Teo Estavan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Silvano Benat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gustavo Lizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Lázaro Jeraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hermosillo FC's Gustavo Lizar got a free kick in the 95th minute. 98 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Estavan came free, but Silvano Benat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
