In the 15th minute Pedro Bieito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Peio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Honorato Ourente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Pedro Bieito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Bieito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Cavaliers FC booed when SIDI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Ourente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sixto Peio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Bieito, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The audience was convinced that Pedro Bieito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixto Peio was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 45thth minute of the game Pedro Bieito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SIDI's Sixto Peio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Lekubegi was the one to do the kick off.
