After 14 minutes, Gavino Endura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Muñes de Don Cuco and the Tordos de Huejutla players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Alonzo Artizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Primitivo Manny scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anacleto Eutor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anacleto Eutor came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Tordos de Huejutla's Primitivo Manny. But to his dismay, Primitivo Manny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Serafin Vela was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Alonzo Artizar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alonzo Artizar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The supporters of Los Muñes de Don Cuco booed when Tordos de Huejutla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Nisio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Tordos de Huejutla:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Muñes de Don Cuco:s goal. In the 36th minute there was a penalty for Los Muñes de Don Cuco. Roque Caton stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Serafin Vela. 2-2. Israel Txerran's late challenge caught a Tordos de Huejutla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Israel Txerran helped the player get up and apologised. Primitivo Manny struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Anacleto Eutor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tordos de Huejutla. Anacleto Eutor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Manny in the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Primitivo Manny made a kick off. Anacleto Eutor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Manny, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Primitivo Manny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Anacleto Eutor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Primitivo Manny kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anacleto Eutor. That made the score 2-3 in the 57 minute of play. With 63 minutes on the clock, Gerardo Baumer commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 64 played minutes Los Muñes de Don Cuco got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Baumer. After having played for 65 minutes, Bartolo Peyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tordos de Huejutla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Peyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melchor Pelagius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Primitivo Manny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Anacleto Eutor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tordos de Huejutla's Primitivo Manny in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
