After 14 played minutes TZILACATZIN got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Loren. After a defensive mix-up in TZILACATZIN's zone, Ambrosio Gar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Manni came out of the goal and Ambrosio Gar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 18 minutes, Bernardino Rufio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galácticos del Pueblo and the TZILACATZIN players grew even worse after the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Abadia couldn't finish the play.
