Bartolo Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Iratze in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Galácticos del Pueblo's Ambrosio Gar got a free kick in the 19th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Les Tigres's Victor Steven nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bartolo Salomone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 36 minutes, Ignacio Justin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galácticos del Pueblo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Justin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Fabian Reynardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Les Tigres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Reynardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victor Steven blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bartolo Salomone having to make a save. In the 42nd minute, Victor Steven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cipriano Llanos fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galácticos del Pueblo's protests and gave Cipriano Llanos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Galácticos del Pueblo getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cipriano Llanos hit a great ball. Leonides Ihintza kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fermin Rayman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Bartolo Salomone successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 58 minutes into the game, Victor Steven recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bartolo Salomone. Victor Steven showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 63rd minute, Guillermo Tano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Leonides Ihintza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rigoberto Iratze hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rigoberto Iratze during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75thth minute of the game Victor Steven who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galácticos del Pueblo's Bartolo Salomone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Steven in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartolo Salomone saved Galácticos del Pueblo from getting behind. Bartolo Salomone made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Rigoberto Iratze sent off a good shot on target. Bartolo Salomone came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Les Tigres's Victor Steven. But to his dismay, Victor Steven quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Rigoberto Iratze had several of the Galácticos del Pueblo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 84 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Bartolo Salomone as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bartolo Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Steven in the 88th minute of play. Bartolo Salomone came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Les Tigres's Paulino Orixe. But to his dismay, Paulino Orixe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. If Rigoberto Iratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Les Tigres could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Galácticos del Pueblo throughout the match.
