Umbruso Mena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 16 played minutes Roneros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Barea. The supporters of GOMEZ F.C. booed when Roneros F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. René Emperanza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the GOMEZ F.C. defense, Figueroa Aviñante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Umbruso Mena. The GOMEZ F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Umbruso Mena should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, GOMEZ F.C.'s Criban Reganado got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Ximenez Aller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walter Luzuriaga made a kick off. Roneros F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ximenez Aller in the 53rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Alberto Lombillo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 54 minutes into the match, Walter Luzuriaga notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of GOMEZ F.C.'s Umbruso Mena. Umbruso Mena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Walter Luzuriaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Umbruso Mena made a huge save. Figueroa Aviñante kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Alberto Lombillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Umbruso Mena came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Lombillo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 60th minute. Figueroa Aviñante kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Umbruso Mena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walter Luzuriaga went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Marimon during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes GOMEZ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Marimon. Umbruso Mena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Luzuriaga in the 79th minute of the match. When Vito Lapenya fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GOMEZ F.C.'s protests and gave Vito Lapenya a yellow card for diving instead. Vito Lapenya hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Klimowitz Cortun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xulian Vegal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, GOMEZ F.C.'s Umbruso Mena got control of the ball when Figueroa Aviñante tried to sneak it across the goal line. Umbruso Mena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Walter Luzuriaga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 90 minute of play. Klimowitz Cortun hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Roneros F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
