Inter de Guayaquil FC's Valiente Tebar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 7th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Saritama Villarroel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 11th minute, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Marcelo Calenga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 17th minute, Xosepe Ugarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Villafane was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a rather tough play, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Miguel Celama got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Alarcón Mallavia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Villafane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xosepe Ugarte in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28thth minute of the game Bruno Teijeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter de Guayaquil FC's Danilo Villafane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Franco Mussoll's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saritama Villarroel was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. No Me Inscriban Gracias's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Franco Mussoll scored to the left of an out of position Saritama Villarroel, making the score, 3-1. With a little luck, No Me Inscriban Gracias's Saritama Villarroel got control of the ball when Franco Mussoll tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saritama Villarroel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Gallego, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danilo Villafane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Salantes went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Inter de Guayaquil FC's Camacho Goiri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Saritama Villarroel. That made the score 4-2 after 43 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

Saritama Villarroel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Gallego in the 55th minute of the match. Felipe Salantes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Danilo Villafane made a huge save. A collision led to No Me Inscriban Gracias getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Xosepe Ugarte hit a great ball. After 62 played minutes Marcelo Calenga shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for No Me Inscriban Gracias's Saritama Villarroel to catch but Marcelo Calenga was lucky. It became 5-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. A collision led to No Me Inscriban Gracias getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jama Gallarde hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Franco Mussoll made a precise shot to the right of Saritama Villarroel. No Me Inscriban Gracias's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Saritama Villarroel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valiente Tebar in the 71st minute of play. Saritama Villarroel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Gallego, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Bruno Teijeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Teijeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 89 minutes into the match, Xosepe Ugarte notched a goal, 7-3, to the right of Inter de Guayaquil FC's Danilo Villafane. Danilo Villafane was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Camacho Goiri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Inter de Guayaquil FC had played much better football throughout.
