The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 9 minutes, Andres Graci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nutridal F.C. and the YerBaTerOs players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mendez Gamones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtsin Verga in the 22nd minute of play. In the 28th minute, Andres Graci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes YerBaTerOs got a freekick which was hit by Yoelvis Villafane. Mendez Gamones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferrer Aras, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, YerBaTerOs's Zuzen Melendez got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Urtsin Verga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Urtsin Verga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mendez Gamones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Nutridal F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calisto Casasola to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd match minute, YerBaTerOs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvarez Antequera to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Alfonso Dorado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwin Avellano, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferrer Aras in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mendez Gamones saved YerBaTerOs from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Erwin Avellano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The YerBaTerOs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Urtsin Verga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Mendez Gamones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 played minutes YerBaTerOs got a freekick which was hit by Salas Justo. The supporters of YerBaTerOs booed when Nutridal F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calisto Casasola didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute Erwin Avellano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Dorado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind YerBaTerOs's goalkeeper Mendez Gamones, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erwin Avellano took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Dorado. Alfonso Dorado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. YerBaTerOs's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
