After having played for 5 minutes, Erwin Avellano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YerBaTerOs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erwin Avellano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Audaz FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Urritz Villaran in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Intriago Saldivar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vitin Colsa, passed just outside the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ambrossi Afraga during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of YerBaTerOs:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Audaz FC:s goal. After 25 minutes of play, Audaz FC's Urritz Villaran made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mendez Gamones was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 37 played minutes YerBaTerOs got a freekick which was hit by Salas Justo. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urritz Villaran was the one to do the kick off. Mendez Gamones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Nogueira in the 53rd minute of the match. Urritz Villaran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Mendez Gamones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitin Colsa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erwin Avellano's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Intriago Saldivar hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Audaz FC's Urritz Villaran got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vitin Colsa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erwin Avellano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Erwin Avellano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Urritz Villaran came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mendez Gamones could save by the left post.
