Alfonso Cuevas made in the 7th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ayatolá Inmortals's Rosero Corada. The supporters of Porteño Prowess FC booed when Ayatolá Inmortals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xofre Bayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Leo Dieguez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porteño Prowess FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ayatolá Inmortals the free kick. After 9 played minutes Porteño Prowess FC got a freekick which was hit by Leo Dieguez. After having played for 14 minutes, Klimovich Olalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ayatolá Inmortals's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klimovich Olalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Parisi Breton successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 19 minutes into the match, Zeruko Sardaneta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Quer. Ayatolá Inmortals's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeruko Sardaneta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Guamán Bevia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrique Quer having to make a save. In the 26th minute, Guamán Bevia made a precise shot to the right of Enrique Quer. Ayatolá Inmortals's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Guamán Bevia hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Ayatolá Inmortals's goal looked a bit too open when Guamán Bevia came free, but Enrique Quer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ayatolá Inmortals's Klimovich Olalla got a free kick in the 44th minute. Enrique Quer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guamán Bevia's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xofre Bayo to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ayatolá Inmortals's zone, Zoilo Melendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Quer came out of the goal and Zoilo Melendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute of the match, Zoilo Melendes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Enrique Quer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 62nd minute, Rogelio Canton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xofre Bayo scored 2-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Parisi Breton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Enrique Quer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guamán Bevia in the 68th minute of play. Enrique Quer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guamán Bevia in the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of Ayatolá Inmortals booed when Porteño Prowess FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeruko Sardaneta didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Porteño Prowess FC's Zoilo Melendes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enrique Quer. That made the score 2-3 after 90 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guamán Bevia in the 94th minute of play forced Ayatolá Inmortals's goalkeeper Enrique Quer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ayatolá Inmortals supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Porteño Prowess FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Porteño Prowess FC.
