In the 3rd minute, Gustavo Cintron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Club Puerto Quito booed when DALO S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Zaldos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Zornin Morentin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Puerto Quito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DALO S.C. the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ortiz Lumeras during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Club Puerto Quito's Xosepin Llosa was substituted for Vitin Martin. Ortiz Lumeras kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Cristian Llantada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samaniego Centenales was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 19 played minutes DALO S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gutierrez Terron. Samaniego Centenales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Cintron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samaniego Centenales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xosepin Llosa in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Club Puerto Quito getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Xosepin Llosa hit a great ball. Ximun Arichaga scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Urbes Cenzano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Samaniego Centenales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Cintron, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Ortiz Lumeras got his second yellow card in the match during the 37th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 39th match minute, DALO S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ortiz Lumeras to maneuver through the defense. Samaniego Centenales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Llantada in the 40th minute of play. Samaniego Centenales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Fanego, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Club Puerto Quito's Bruno Cirarruista got a free kick in the 51st minute. Urbes Cenzano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gutierrez Terron, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Zornin Morentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Zaldos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 57 played minutes Club Puerto Quito got a freekick which was hit by William Fanego. Samaniego Centenales came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Puerto Quito's Gustavo Cintron. But to his dismay, Gustavo Cintron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Miguel Zaldos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ximun Arichaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbes Cenzano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ximun Arichaga in the 75th minute of play. Samaniego Centenales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Llantada, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, DALO S.C.'s Gutierrez Terron got a free kick in the 84th minute. Samaniego Centenales didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Zornin Morentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Samaniego Centenales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Club Puerto Quito's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Zaldos came free, but Urbes Cenzano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Club Puerto Quito players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
