The tension between the DALO S.C. and the Club Puerto Quito players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee ignored Club Puerto Quito's protests and gave Xurxo Detres a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of DALO S.C. booed when Club Puerto Quito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xurxo Detres didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes Club Puerto Quito got a freekick which was hit by Vitin Martin. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samaniego Centenales showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. DALO S.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
