In the 4th minute, José Ignacio Berguecio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Javier Wittemberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a little luck, CRUZ DEL SUR's Godofredo Mac Intyre got control of the ball when Bonifacio Clavijo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luis Javier Wittemberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Ignacio Berguecio in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Manuel Vlahovic in the 20th minute of play forced Bizarrockzs FC's goalkeeper Luis Javier Wittemberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Ignacio Berguecio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Javier Wittemberg having to interfere. The supporters of CRUZ DEL SUR booed when Bizarrockzs FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rómulo Albano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Bizarrockzs FC's Bonifacio Clavijo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Godofredo Mac Intyre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. A collision led to Bizarrockzs FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Juan María Hoefler hit a great ball. In the 35th minute of the match Lorenzo Mella shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luis Javier Wittemberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Bonifacio Clavijo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CRUZ DEL SUR's Godofredo Mac Intyre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Bizarrockzs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Manuel Vlahovic came free, but Luis Javier Wittemberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nazario Docal's late challenge caught a CRUZ DEL SUR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nazario Docal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bizarrockzs FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Nazario Docal hit a great ball. CRUZ DEL SUR's Juan Manuel Vlahovic got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Ignacio Berguecio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Juan María Hoefler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bizarrockzs FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CRUZ DEL SUR the free kick. In the 55th match minute, Bizarrockzs FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan María Hoefler to maneuver through the defense. Luis Javier Wittemberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lorenzo Mella. In the 56th minute, Carlos Hernán Manhood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Xulián Artaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos Hernán Manhood hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. A hard, long distance shot from Carlos Hernán Manhood flew over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bizarrockzs FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while CRUZ DEL SUR had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
