Baez FC were furious when Luis María Lobos was red carded, 11 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Baez FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! After some careless play in the Baez FC defense, Ariano Soffia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jon-Ander Bazaes. The Baez FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jon-Ander Bazaes should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute, Abelado Iriarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Baez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ariano Soffia came free, but Jon-Ander Bazaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon-Ander Bazaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Pagueguy in the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to Barrabases de Victoria getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Claudio Turpin hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Baez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ariano Soffia came free, but Jon-Ander Bazaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Barrabases de Victoria's Ariano Soffia in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jon-Ander Bazaes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half Barrabases de Victoria were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rubén Concha was the one to do the kick off. If Filiberto Beitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th match minute, Baez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurino Verschueren to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Ignacio Jorquera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Jon-Ander Bazaes made a huge save. After 57 minutes of play, Barrabases de Victoria's Ariano Soffia made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jon-Ander Bazaes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jon-Ander Bazaes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ariano Soffia's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Barrabases de Victoria made a substitution. Álvaro Puccio replaced Salomón Mioño. 72 minutes into the match, Baez FC's goalkeeper Jon-Ander Bazaes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro José Videla. Adriano Malaree kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Jon-Ander Bazaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Pagueguy in the 79th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Pedro José Videla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barrabases de Victoria's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
