Fidelio Herboso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlín De la Cruz in the 36th minute of the match. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Markus Heredia pulled a muscle in his leg after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ismael Irisarri's late challenge caught a FC Anderlecht Huachipato's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Although FC Anderlecht Huachipato had been in control for most of the match, U. de Tarapacá still came away with the win.
