Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pate Vaca started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute Pere Sáenz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Podador Santelices saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Jose Navarro came free, but Gabriel Sologuren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th match minute, General Velásquez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Máximo Acosta to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Sologuren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pate Vaca in the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in General Velásquez's zone, Pate Vaca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Sologuren came out of the goal and Pate Vaca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hanamichi Sakuragi's late challenge caught a Lautaro L.P.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hanamichi Sakuragi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lautaro L.P. booed when General Velásquez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hanamichi Sakuragi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Sologuren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Jose Navarro in the 17th minute of play. General Velásquez's Gabriel Sologuren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Madrid in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lautaro L.P.'s Pol Botero got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th match minute, Lautaro L.P. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Hernán Manosalva to maneuver through the defense. General Velásquez's Gabriel Sologuren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Madrid in the 32nd minute of play. Podador Santelices was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sarracino Owen. Gabriel Sologuren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pate Vaca in the 38th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goal looked a bit too open when Pate Vaca came free, but Gabriel Sologuren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to General Velásquez getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gustavo Chacaltana hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pere Sáenz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60th match minute, Lautaro L.P. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Orlando Pazols to maneuver through the defense. After 61 played minutes, General Velásquez's Sarracino Owen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Podador Santelices came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in General Velásquez reached it. Albert Madrid struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Gabriel Sologuren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lautaro L.P.. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pate Vaca in the 65th minute of play forced General Velásquez's goalkeeper Gabriel Sologuren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro L.P.'s Podador Santelices played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Avalos in the 70th minute of play. Gabriel Sologuren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Madrid, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Juan Jose Navarro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gabriel Sologuren, 1-2. After some careless play in the General Velásquez defense, Juan Jose Navarro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Sologuren. The General Velásquez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Sologuren should have stopped the shot. General Velásquez's Carmelo Avalos got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Eustacio Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. General Velásquez's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Delgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Podador Santelices breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Lautaro L.P. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lautaro L.P. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
