Domingo Tolhauzsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Pincheira in the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to C.D. Pepino’s getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Nahuel Briones hit a great ball. If Eriberto Pincheira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. C.D. Pepino’s were furious when Nahuel Briones was red carded, 18 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 18th match minute, C.D. Pepino’s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nahuel Briones to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, C.D. Pepino’s's Reces Mondaca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zavier Prenafeta. Zavier Prenafeta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Domingo Tolhauzsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Pincheira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mercurio Miquel in the 29th minute of play forced C.D. Pepino’s's goalkeeper Domingo Tolhauzsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Eriberto Pincheira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cobresal's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Pincheira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Tolhauzsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute, Eriberto Pincheira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Tolhauzsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 41 minutes of play, Cobresal's Eriberto Pincheira made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingo Tolhauzsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute, Mercurio Isasiguia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zavier Prenafeta. The goal made the score 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reces Mondaca was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Bruno Sologuren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Tolhauzsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mercurio Miquel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Sologuren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Domingo Tolhauzsen came out and tried to block the shot, but Bruno Sologuren slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 63rd minute. Reces Mondaca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zavier Prenafeta having to interfere. Lester Sanfuentes charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lester Sanfuentes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of C.D. Pepino’s booed when Cobresal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lester Sanfuentes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 played minutes, C.D. Pepino’s's Xulián Farias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zavier Prenafeta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.D. Pepino’s reached it. 71 minutes into the game, Axel Véjar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cobresal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.D. Pepino’s the free kick. A collision led to Cobresal getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Axel Véjar hit a great ball. C.D. Pepino’s's Domingo Tolhauzsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Pincheira in the 74th minute of play. Zavier Prenafeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reces Mondaca in the 76th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Xulián Farias managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D. Pepino’s's supporters rose to their feet, but Xulián Farias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zavier Prenafeta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the game, Reces Mondaca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Zavier Prenafeta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reinaldo Recalde hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Axel Véjar from long distance, 89 minutes into the match, got Domingo Tolhauzsen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Cobresal getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Lester Sanfuentes hit a great ball. After 93 played minutes, C.D. Pepino’s's Xulián Farias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zavier Prenafeta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Bruno Sologuren took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingo Tolhauzsen. Domingo Tolhauzsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. The C.D. Pepino’s supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cobresal's performance. The match ended with a win for Cobresal.
