If Alarico Laso de la Vega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pere Sáenz in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Manuel Larralde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute Carmelo Avalos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Manuel Larralde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Manuel Larralde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Avalos in the 19th minute of the match. After some careless play in the VILLANUEVA FC defense, Alarico Laso de la Vega kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Manuel Larralde. The VILLANUEVA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Manuel Larralde should have stopped the shot. After 23 minutes of play, General Velásquez's Pere Sáenz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. VILLANUEVA FC's Juan Manuel Larralde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alarico Laso de la Vega in the 27th minute of play. Juan Manuel Larralde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pere Sáenz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 56 minutes into the match, VILLANUEVA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Delgado came free, but Juan Manuel Larralde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. General Velásquez's Miquel Jaña was substituted for Alarico Laso de la Vega. Pere Sáenz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. If Carmelo Avalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pere Sáenz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Juan Manuel Larralde skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Manuel Larralde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. General Velásquez played a much better game than VILLANUEVA FC and deserved their victory. The VILLANUEVA FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
