Leonardo Isamit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Domingo Tolhauzsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Seran Palomino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Isamit in the 56th minute of play forced C.D. Pepino’s's goalkeeper Domingo Tolhauzsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Xulián Farias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.D. Pepino’s's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VILLANUEVA FC the free kick. In the 60th minute, Xulián Farias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C.D. Pepino’s's Reces Mondaca got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Manuel Larralde made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Reces Mondaca sent off a good shot on target. Seran Palomino struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Domingo Tolhauzsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VILLANUEVA FC. Juan Manuel Larralde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reces Mondaca in the 83rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reces Mondaca got free with Juan Manuel Larralde in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
