Lucas Puebla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Demetrio Amesti made a huge save. Selmo Rast hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Lauro Monsalve got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute, Cris Ronaldo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demetrio Amesti was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Selmo Rast kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Demetrio Amesti. That made the score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Snorlax FC's Lucas Puebla got a free kick in the 41st minute. Demetrio Amesti made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Cris Ronaldo sent off a good shot on target. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eufemio Cumsille to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Snorlax FC got a corner. C.F. Leftraro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nereo Ibarguen ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 58th minute Lucas Puebla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Amesti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Snorlax FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Ibarguen to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Francisco Ross during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 65 minutes into the match, C.F. Leftraro's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Puebla came free, but Demetrio Amesti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demetrio Amesti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oriol Tripailaf in the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Reyes Aboitiz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fulco Briones. Reyes Aboitiz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 71 minutes into the match, C.F. Leftraro's Candido Céspedes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fulco Briones narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Lauro Monsalve left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.F. Leftraro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Demetrio Amesti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cris Ronaldo's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. The supporters of C.F. Leftraro booed when Snorlax FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Puebla didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to C.F. Leftraro getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Lauro Monsalve hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, José Francisco Ross managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.F. Leftraro's supporters rose to their feet, but José Francisco Ross was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulco Briones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Demetrio Amesti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Puebla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
