Adelio Palomino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Mella in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dragones Celestes's Barni Porter got a free kick in the 12th minute. Rutenio Poveda came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Dragones Celestes's Blanco Pazols. But to his dismay, Blanco Pazols quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Dragones Celestes's Blanco Pazols sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rutenio Poveda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adelio Palomino didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 33rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. In the 37th minute, Blanco Pazols got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blanco Pazols sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 42 minutes, Jacinto Cross managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talcampeón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Cross was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adelio Palomino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Francisco Maffey, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, Talcampeón FC's Yeray Lisperguer got a free kick in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Adelio Palomino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Cross in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Yeray Lisperguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelio Palomino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adelio Palomino came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Talcampeón FC's Yeray Lisperguer. But to his dismay, Yeray Lisperguer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Dragones Celestes's Adelio Palomino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Francisco Maffey in the 60th minute of play. Talcampeón FC's Rutenio Poveda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Talcampeón FC from getting a goal against them. Rutenio Poveda was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Roy Elgueta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roy Elgueta really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Talcampeón FC's Rutenio Poveda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Talcampeón FC from getting a goal against them. In the 85th match minute, Dragones Celestes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Carlos Nilo to maneuver through the defense. Roy Elgueta was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Dragones Celestes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 92 minutes into the match, Yeray Lisperguer notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Dragones Celestes's Adelio Palomino. Adelio Palomino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Talcampeón FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
