Ricard Semir kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Abundio Apparcel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Abundio Apparcel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jaume Balcazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Aguirrebeña having to interfere. The supporters of ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★ booed when CSD Concepción was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s Mauro Heiremans got a free kick in the 17th minute. Zavier Adams scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Arteche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Santiago Macuer scored to the left of an out of position Maximiliano Aguirrebeña, making the score, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Poulus Pedraza managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSD Concepción's supporters rose to their feet, but Poulus Pedraza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Aguirrebeña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

If Poulus Pedraza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Aguirrebeña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Barros in the 54th minute of the match. When Gualberto Amiot fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s protests and gave Gualberto Amiot a yellow card for diving instead. Gualberto Amiot hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s Maximiliano Aguirrebeña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Barros in the 56th minute of play. Maximiliano Aguirrebeña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 minutes, Pol Languard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★ and the CSD Concepción players grew even worse after the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, CSD Concepción's Niceto Serrano tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. CSD Concepción's Marcelo Arteche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save CSD Concepción from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Ferrán Alcedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximiliano Aguirrebeña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Macuer in the 87th minute of play.
