Marcelo Arteche was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 25 minutes of play, Zorros del Desierto's Nino Maravilha made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Arteche was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zorros del Desierto's Leonel Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Zorros del Desierto from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Barros got free with Leonel Santana in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Saturnino Albrecht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Maguire to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Teofilo Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Santana was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After 62 played minutes, CSD Concepción's Eder Arizmendi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonel Santana came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CSD Concepción reached it. The audience was convinced that Santiago Macuer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Santana was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. If Nino Maravilha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of CSD Concepción booed when Zorros del Desierto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miren Bacheler didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, CSD Concepción's Eder Arizmendi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Zorros del Desierto's Leonel Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Macuer in the 92nd minute of play. When Samo Rano fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zorros del Desierto's protests and gave Samo Rano a yellow card for diving instead. Ferrán Alcedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonel Santana. Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zorros del Desierto's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
