Tanausu Granados didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nino Maravilha went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Nino Maravilha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Maguire in the 21st minute of play forced Torreoncito's goalkeeper Tanausu Granados to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanausu Granados showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Maguire, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Faustino Barasarte kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Bautista Agnese struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Leonel Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torreoncito. Angelillo Parrini hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Tanausu Granados showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Maguire in the 36th minute of the match. Saturnino Albrecht hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Carillanca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zorros del Desierto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torreoncito the free kick. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zorros del Desierto! The goalkeeper, Leonel Santana, was totally fooled by Torreoncito's Juan Antonio Vives, who 40 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 46th minute Bautista Agnese shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nino Maravilha was the one to do the kick off. Tanausu Granados made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samo Rano in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Samo Rano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zorros del Desierto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torreoncito the free kick. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Samo Rano got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 54 played minutes, Torreoncito's Juan Antonio Vives shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonel Santana came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Torreoncito reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Torreoncito's zone, Jerry Maguire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanausu Granados came out of the goal and Jerry Maguire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tanausu Granados showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Maguire, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Jerry Maguire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tanausu Granados tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Antonio Vives came free, but Leonel Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zorros del Desierto's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
