After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magallanes's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rómulo Jara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerardo Obanos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerardo Obanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rage F.C.'s Rómulo Jara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Lallane came free, but Silvio Lastarria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Filomeno Lallane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After a rather tough play, Rage F.C.'s Ruperto Huilipan got a free kick in the 56th minute. When Brian Izaga came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Magallanes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Izaga couldn't finish the play. Brian Izaga took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rómulo Jara. Rómulo Jara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 67th match minute, Rage F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Huilipan to maneuver through the defense. Magallanes's Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erik Serpa kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rómulo Jara having to interfere. The supporters of Rage F.C. booed when Magallanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Izaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Magallanes's Brian Izaga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rómulo Jara. Rómulo Jara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Silvio Lastarria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Livingstone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Magallanes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rage F.C..
