Maurín Julio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. A collision led to FSX UNITED getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Henrico Liendo hit a great ball. Albin Cordoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Laferte in the 43rd minute of play. When Ubaldo Matildo Bahamonde came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the LA 90 DE HUGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubaldo Matildo Bahamonde couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florián Badilla made a kick off. Roland Gaete's late challenge caught a FSX UNITED's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roland Gaete helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FSX UNITED booed when LA 90 DE HUGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Gaete didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, Florián Badilla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Albin Cordoba. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 63rd minute Justino Laferte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albin Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albin Zambrano struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Albin Cordoba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FSX UNITED. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Matildo Bahamonde in the 70th minute of play forced FSX UNITED's goalkeeper Alvar Pantoja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in FSX UNITED fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! In the 82nd minute, Edelmiro Aguad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute of the match Eustaquio York shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albin Cordoba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Martino Larrazabal kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of FSX UNITED booed when LA 90 DE HUGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Félix Tupper didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ubaldo Matildo Bahamonde kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes FSX UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio York. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FSX UNITED eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
