In the 10th minute Ricart Olmos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Pedraza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Pedraza acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Próspero Ruiz Tagle. If Candido Alba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florencio Martens, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Candido Alba got in the 24th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Omar Pedraza handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Leovigildo Zambrano came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Richmond's Roberto Siengelo. But to his dismay, Roberto Siengelo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 34th match minute, AFC Richmond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenico Macuer to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Omar Pedraza managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when ☠QUINTERO☠'s Florencio Martens fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

After a defensive mix-up in AFC Richmond's zone, Candido Alba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Pedraza came out of the goal and Candido Alba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the game, Candido Alba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Omar Pedraza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st minute, one of AFC Richmond:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AFC Richmond. Omar Pedraza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Alba in the 68th minute of the match. Florencio Martens hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Candido Alba in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Pedraza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute, Carlos Albis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Richmond fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. ☠QUINTERO☠'s Visen Garrido was substituted for Ricart Olmos. In the 83rd minute Visen Garrido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Pedraza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ☠QUINTERO☠ booed when AFC Richmond was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amato Gamboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Omar Pedraza came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by ☠QUINTERO☠'s Florencio Martens. But to his dismay, Florencio Martens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The throw-in from Miguel Ángel Zúñiga in the 99th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AFC Richmond's Odón Osorez.
