Pablo-Enrique Oribe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Fusiion. After some careless play in the La Fusiion defense, Bihar Arriaga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lobo Rafales. The La Fusiion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lobo Rafales should have stopped the shot. After having played for 24 minutes, Jaen Marroquin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Playa Malvín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaen Marroquin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zornin Zaloña charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zornin Zaloña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to La Fusiion getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Zornin Zaloña hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bihar Arriaga in the 26th minute of play forced La Fusiion's goalkeeper Lobo Rafales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Carlomagno Veragua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, La Fusiion's goal looked a bit too open when Bihar Arriaga came free, but Lobo Rafales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to La Fusiion getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Nahia Regules hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Playa Malvín's Quique Partarroyo tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Bihar Arriaga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lobo Rafales was relentless in the 39th minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Truylos Zuazna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bilbo Valle hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Bihar Arriaga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Lobo Rafales when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 58 minutes, Xavieon Botejara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Fusiion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavieon Botejara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Matxin Cadanes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Lobo Rafales managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Playa Malvín's Bihar Arriaga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Bihar Arriaga came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Playa Malvín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bihar Arriaga couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the La Fusiion defense, Bihar Arriaga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lobo Rafales. The La Fusiion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lobo Rafales should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Xavieon Botejara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo-Enrique Oribe. Playa Malvín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xavieon Botejara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Matthew McConaughey kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Playa Malvín's Matt Damon got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Conrao Sagarteguieta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, La Fusiion's goalkeeper Lobo Rafales had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bihar Arriaga. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Playa Malvín players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
