When Isaias Fuertehijar fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.S.D Punta Ballena's protests and gave Isaias Fuertehijar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, C.S.D Punta Ballena's Isaias Fuertehijar got a free kick in the 15th minute. Hitzeder Varez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jusepe Arcelay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Bonifaco Villalcazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hitzeder Varez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bonifaco Villalcazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hitzeder Varez having to interfere. Hitzeder Varez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isaias Fuertehijar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. A collision led to C.S.D Punta Ballena getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Baudelio Valls hit a great ball. In the 34th match minute, Carqueja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pinto Caniego to maneuver through the defense. Bonifaco Villalcazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hitzeder Varez having to interfere. In the 41st minute, C.S.D Punta Ballena's Bonifaco Villalcazar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lope Villandiego stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, C.S.D Punta Ballena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Trasgallo to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes, C.S.D Punta Ballena's Josu Garoña shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hitzeder Varez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.S.D Punta Ballena reached it. Baudelio Valls struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Hitzeder Varez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.S.D Punta Ballena. C.S.D Punta Ballena made a substitution. Erubiel Solana replaced Teo Trasgallo. Isaias Fuertehijar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.S.D Punta Ballena's Juan-Carlos Casares was substituted for Hector Aragones. Bonifaco Villalcazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hitzeder Varez having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Carqueja got a freekick which was hit by Pinto Caniego. Hitzeder Varez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifaco Villalcazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bonifaco Villalcazar hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lope Villandiego got free with Bartoli Navagos in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 played minutes Carqueja got a freekick which was hit by Urki Olivera. Hitzeder Varez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaias Fuertehijar went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Jusepe Arcelay hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
