Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcelo Zalayeta started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Santana Centeñes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aristides Bernaldez hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute of the match Merexildo Contero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rai Pedros skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Villamandos during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Res Non Verba getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Leonel Villamandos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Caravantes in the 7th minute of play forced Res Non Verba's goalkeeper Rai Pedros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colas Vilaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Washington Aguerre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Zalayeta in the 12th minute of play forced Res Non Verba's goalkeeper Rai Pedros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gipuzkoa Hiriart hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Argi Guiles scored to the left of an out of position Washington Aguerre, making the score, 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Victorino Caravantes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Res Non Verba's Rai Pedros. Rai Pedros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the game, Marcelo Zalayeta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rai Pedros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goalkeeper Washington Aguerre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santana Centeñes. 43 minutes into the match, Res Non Verba's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Zalayeta came free, but Rai Pedros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes, Ted Villafuentes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Peñarol FIFV and the Res Non Verba players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Deportivo Peñarol FIFV got a freekick which was hit by Ted Villafuentes. In the 46th minute of the match Argi Guiles shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Washington Aguerre showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 51st minute Argi Guiles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Washington Aguerre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rioja Cortinez in the 53rd minute of play forced Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goalkeeper Washington Aguerre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Deportivo Peñarol FIFV getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ted Villafuentes hit a great ball. When Argi Guiles came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Res Non Verba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Argi Guiles couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Deportivo Peñarol FIFV booed when Res Non Verba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argi Guiles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Araoz Montaño's late challenge caught a Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Araoz Montaño helped the player get up and apologised. Araoz Montaño kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Res Non Verba's zone, Marcelo Zalayeta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rai Pedros came out of the goal and Marcelo Zalayeta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristides Bernaldez kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Argi Guiles kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Marcelo Zalayeta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Lluterio Mendibuey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Santana Centeñes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Res Non Verba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Peñarol FIFV the free kick. In the 82nd match minute, Res Non Verba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santana Centeñes to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Colas Vilaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Washington Aguerre was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Marcelo Zalayeta might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rai Pedros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Zalayeta ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Lluterio Mendibuey kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rai Pedros. That made the score 1-4 in the 90 minute of play. A collision led to Deportivo Peñarol FIFV getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Denis Mateo hit a great ball.
