Asier Raña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Segundo Bueldi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Segundo Bueldi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Calisto Lombraña fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's protests and gave Calisto Lombraña a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Mirande Barrutia hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Calisto Lombraña put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Oxarra Cistero got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 42nd minute, Vanadio F.C.'s Benjamin Lemos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Segundo Bueldi. Segundo Bueldi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Lemos to strike the kick off in the second half. The Vanadio F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Vanadio F.C.'s Benjamin Lemos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
