Higinio Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mendebal Larrechi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mauricio Panero fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nacional's protests and gave Mauricio Panero a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Mauricio Panero hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Nacional's goalkeeper Gaufred Sagarteguieta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Montay Courel. In the 10th minute, Mendebal Larrechi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gaskon Comas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Gaufred Sagarteguieta made a huge save. Higinio Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Zotillo in the 28th minute of the match. When Nacional's Mauricio Panero in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Mendebal Larrechi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Higinio Bueno was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaskon Comas made a kick off. Luzaide Olmos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Higinio Bueno having to make a save. 54 minutes into the game, Nacional's Mauricio Panero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Higinio Bueno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Higinio Bueno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauricio Panero's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Panero in the 66th minute of play forced Fohat Neyen's goalkeeper Higinio Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Niolaao Balbin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabirel Cueva charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabirel Cueva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gabirel Cueva hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Fohat Neyen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Mauricio Panero scored to the left of an out of position Higinio Bueno, making the score, 0-4. Mauricio Panero took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Higinio Bueno. Higinio Bueno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Mendebal Larrechi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Bueno having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fohat Neyen's zone, Cirilo Zotillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Bueno came out of the goal and Cirilo Zotillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Fohat Neyen booed when Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luzaide Olmos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nacional eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
