Gaspar Verastegui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Maturrango. Raul Platas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laffitte Rioz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mano Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atletico Maturrango's Raul Platas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laffitte Rioz in the 18th minute of play. Raul Platas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Cepa in the 26th minute of the match. With a little luck, Atletico Maturrango's Raul Platas got control of the ball when Laffitte Rioz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Urtungo Ramin kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Hulberto Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Verastegui having to interfere. Dei Ibarlucea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Verastegui having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Guido Arizabal got a free kick in the 44th minute. Atletico Maturrango's Eufemio Zugarrondo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laffitte Rioz to make the kick off. When Urtungo Ramin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. Gaspar Verastegui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulberto Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Laffitte Rioz scored 1-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Platas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
