The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gliša Bozja during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Gliša Bozja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, --Sibenik--'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Attila Hohnjec fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 20th minute, Tito Maraković hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Kuljanski took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urh Lupša. Urh Lupša dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 30 minutes into the game, Dominik Majhenič recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vinko Bujanović. Dominik Majhenič showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. A collision led to HIT Gorica getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Riko Svatovšek hit a great ball. Tito Maraković hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Dominik Majhenič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinko Bujanović having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Drago Bilušić made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attila Hohnjec in the 51st minute of play forced --Sibenik--'s goalkeeper Vinko Bujanović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in --Sibenik--'s zone, Jaka Vinger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinko Bujanović came out of the goal and Jaka Vinger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Dinko Dedaj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinko Bujanović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Majhenič in the 63rd minute of the match. Attila Hohnjec struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Vinko Bujanović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HIT Gorica. An unexpectedly hard shot by Drago Bilušić in the 74th minute of play forced HIT Gorica's goalkeeper Urh Lupša to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th match minute, --Sibenik-- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drago Bilušić to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Attila Hohnjec in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinko Bujanović saved --Sibenik-- from getting behind. Attila Hohnjec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, --Sibenik--'s Franko Glavan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Urh Lupša narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Urh Lupša came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by --Sibenik--'s Franko Glavan. But to his dismay, Franko Glavan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Drago Bilušić took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urh Lupša. Urh Lupša dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. --Sibenik-- walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
