In the 4th minute, Mateo Kuljanski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The --Sibenik-- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. SAN DIEGO's Goce Ignatovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zlatko Paurević in the 10th minute of play. Franko Glavan hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Paskal Tasev notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of --Sibenik--'s Vinko Bujanović. Vinko Bujanović was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zlatko Paurević kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Vinko Bujanović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teut Radevski in the 22nd minute of play. Drago Bilušić who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Goce Ignatovski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Drago Bilušić kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Goce Ignatovski. That made the score 2-1 in the 32 minute of play. In the 36th minute, Franko Glavan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Goce Ignatovski was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Aleksandar Delić kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paskal Tasev to make the kick off. When Drago Bilušić fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored --Sibenik--'s protests and gave Drago Bilušić a yellow card for diving instead. 55 minutes into the match, --Sibenik--'s goal looked a bit too open when Paskal Tasev came free, but Vinko Bujanović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aleksandar Delić charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aleksandar Delić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to --Sibenik-- getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Aleksandar Delić hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, --Sibenik--'s Franko Glavan got a free kick in the 58th minute. Teut Radevski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of SAN DIEGO booed when --Sibenik-- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zlatko Paurević didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Franko Glavan managed to get in a good position for a shot. --Sibenik--'s supporters rose to their feet, but Franko Glavan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Goce Ignatovski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the match, SAN DIEGO's goal looked a bit too open when Drago Bilušić came free, but Goce Ignatovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SAN DIEGO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Goce Ignatovski should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the match, --Sibenik--'s goal looked a bit too open when Paskal Tasev came free, but Vinko Bujanović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mateo Kuljanski came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the --Sibenik-- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Kuljanski couldn't finish the play. --Sibenik--'s Franko Glavan got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th match minute, SAN DIEGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenij Andonov to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Franko Glavan managed to get in a good position for a shot. --Sibenik--'s supporters rose to their feet, but Franko Glavan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
