After 5th play minutes Ile Manojlovski shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Zdravko Mavri and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Riko Svatovšek got free with Robert Manevski in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, Ile Manojlovski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zdravko Mavri. HIT Gorica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ile Manojlovski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 18 minutes into the game, Red Bull Club's Ile Manojlovski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zdravko Mavri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atanas Živkov in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zdravko Mavri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Robert Manevski managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when HIT Gorica's Attila Hohnjec fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atanas Živkov during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Red Bull Club got a freekick which was hit by Atanas Živkov. In the 29thth minute of the game Riko Svatovšek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Bull Club's Robert Manevski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Red Bull Club's Robert Manevski got control of the ball when Vasko Osmić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robert Manevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Riko Svatovšek, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute Attila Hohnjec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Manevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Red Bull Club's Atanas Živkov got a free kick in the 39th minute. Robert Manevski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Riko Svatovšek's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Stefan Mirkovič's late challenge caught a HIT Gorica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan Mirkovič helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes Red Bull Club got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Mirkovič.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ile Manojlovski was the one to do the kick off. When Kristian Ćurčija came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the HIT Gorica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristian Ćurčija couldn't finish the play. Red Bull Club's Robert Manevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attila Hohnjec in the 59th minute of play. After 63 played minutes Red Bull Club got a freekick which was hit by Nace Bardhi. 65 minutes into the match, Attila Hohnjec had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robert Manevski. Red Bull Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Attila Hohnjec was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. HIT Gorica's Ignac Štrubelj was substituted for Kristian Ćurčija. HIT Gorica's Georgij Beguš was substituted for Gliša Bozja. Zdravko Mavri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Atanas Živkov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 70 minute of play. When HIT Gorica's Riko Svatovšek in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee gave Red Bull Club a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Angel Lazarevski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of HIT Gorica's Zdravko Mavri. 3-6. Riko Svatovšek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Red Bull Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
