HIT Gorica's Kristian Ćurčija got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute Kristian Ćurčija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomislav Mijatovič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 played minutes HIT Gorica got a freekick which was hit by Kristian Ćurčija. 17 minutes into the match, NGOP Football Club's goalkeeper Tomislav Mijatovič had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fedor Šoštarič. Attila Hohnjec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tomislav Mijatovič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, NGOP Football Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kristian Ćurčija fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedor Šoštarič in the 27th minute of play forced NGOP Football Club's goalkeeper Tomislav Mijatovič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Attila Hohnjec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NGOP Football Club's Tomislav Mijatovič was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Attila Hohnjec struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Tomislav Mijatovič didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HIT Gorica. A collision led to NGOP Football Club getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ivan Rajkovski hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Attila Hohnjec stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Attila Hohnjec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NGOP Football Club's Tomislav Mijatovič was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the NGOP Football Club defense, Jaka Vinger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomislav Mijatovič. The NGOP Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomislav Mijatovič should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the match, HIT Gorica's goal looked a bit too open when Andrej Bardulla came free, but Zdravko Mavri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NGOP Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vegim Nacev in the 62nd minute. The corner led NGOP Football Club's Vegim Nacev to fire away a dangerous shot which Zdravko Mavri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tomislav Mijatovič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attila Hohnjec, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrej Bardulla got free with Zdravko Mavri in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 72 played minutes HIT Gorica got a freekick which was hit by Jošt Fogec. HIT Gorica made a substitution. Georgij Beguš replaced Gliša Bozja. HIT Gorica made a substitution. Tomislav Mijatovič made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Tomislav Mijatovič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attila Hohnjec in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to NGOP Football Club getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Tritan Ivanovski hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Attila Hohnjec had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomislav Mijatovič. NGOP Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Attila Hohnjec was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Diljan Metodijev kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. HIT Gorica's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
