Warriors of Gora™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ the free kick. Rade Mrvaljević kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Aleksandar Sokić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Robert Palunko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robert Palunko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feđa Zajić's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabrijel Drenovac got free with Njegovan Baletić in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rade Mrvaljević was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 32 played minutes Warriors of Gora™ got a freekick which was hit by Rade Mrvaljević. After 36 minutes, Vitomir Vuksanović mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Warriors of Gora™ and the GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Rikard Hozjan managed to get in a good position for a shot. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rikard Hozjan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Njegovan Baletić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robert Palunko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feđa Zajić in the 43rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Zoran Čanović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Warriors of Gora™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ the free kick. Gustav Barbir hit a great ball. After the first half Warriors of Gora™ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feđa Zajić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Aleksandar Sokić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Grga Stroligo got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute Feđa Zajić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Palunko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Robert Palunko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the match, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s goalkeeper Robert Palunko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feđa Zajić. Feđa Zajić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Palunko having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Feđa Zajić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 71 played minutes, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Dejan Filip shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Njegovan Baletić came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ reached it. 73 minutes into the match, Feđa Zajić had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robert Palunko. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feđa Zajić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 78thth minute of the game Đuro Ožbolt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Warriors of Gora™'s Njegovan Baletić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Đuro Ožbolt got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Gustav Barbir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Robert Palunko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feđa Zajić in the 85th minute of play. Aleksandar Sokić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Njegovan Baletić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rikard Hozjan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Feđa Zajić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dejan Filip hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
