Vido Rajovec might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natko Malbaša. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vido Rajovec ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Jastreb's zone, Blažo Conič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natko Malbaša came out of the goal and Blažo Conič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladislav Zver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Natko Malbaša tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, NK FOLKROLA's Hasan Živković nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Natko Malbaša made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Petrić in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roko Divjak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filip Petrić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Filip Petrić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NK FOLKROLA's Roko Divjak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Filip Petrić came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Jastreb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Petrić couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the game, Vladislav Zver was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NK FOLKROLA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jastreb the free kick. After 47 played minutes NK FOLKROLA got a freekick which was hit by Vladislav Zver. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Jastreb's Natko Malbaša played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blažo Conič in the 54th minute of play. When Hasan Živković came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the NK FOLKROLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hasan Živković couldn't finish the play. After 85 played minutes Jastreb got a freekick which was hit by Vanja Macan. In the 86th minute of the match Vido Rajovec sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natko Malbaša skillfully saved the ball. After 90 minutes, Teodor Andal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jastreb and the NK FOLKROLA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Teodor Andal hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When Renzo Jurgen fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NK FOLKROLA's protests and gave Renzo Jurgen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Renzo Jurgen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Jastreb getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Vanja Macan hit a great ball. Vido Rajovec took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Natko Malbaša. Jastreb's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
