The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jácint Polgár in the 6th minute of play forced Pénzügyőr SE's goalkeeper Andor Szuper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andor Szuper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Majer in the 7th minute of the match. Ákos Vásárhelyi was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Csaba Dudics capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Csaba Dudics really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 16th minute Jácint Polgár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andor Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Dinamo Pécs FC's Viktor Majer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andor Szuper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jácint Polgár in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andor Szuper saved Pénzügyőr SE from getting behind. Viktor Majer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andor Szuper having to interfere. Pénzügyőr SE's Andor Szuper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnabás Pölöskei in the 28th minute of play. Csaba Dudics charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Csaba Dudics the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andor Szuper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jácint Polgár in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th minute, Viktor Majer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andor Szuper was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. With a little luck, Dinamo Pécs FC's Ákos Vásárhelyi got control of the ball when Péter Ferencz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ákos Vásárhelyi was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Csaba Dudics capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Csaba Dudics really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Barnabás Pölöskei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Andor Szuper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jácint Polgár stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Pénzügyőr SE's Csaba Lázár got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Dinamo Pécs FC's Barnabás Pölöskei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-6. In the 86th match minute, Dinamo Pécs FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márton Győrffy to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th match minute, Pénzügyőr SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by József Borsó to maneuver through the defense. Viktor Majer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andor Szuper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Majer, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Dinamo Pécs FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
