Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rajmund Markó kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the game, Endre Lukács was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Budapest's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szentgotthárd the free kick. If Ignác Sinkó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Bálint Túri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Márton Gál was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 19 played minutes FC Budapest got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Kállai. 20 minutes into the match, FC Budapest's goal looked a bit too open when Attila Saághy came free, but Máté Kántor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Máté Kántor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakab Nyitrai, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute Bálint Túri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márton Gál saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Attila Saághy hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. FC Budapest's András Bánhegyi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Szentgotthárd. In the 28th minute of the match András Bánhegyi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Márton Gál skillfully saved the ball. Márton Gál stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bálint Túri's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Ignác Sinkó's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Máté Kántor firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 39th match minute, FC Budapest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoltán Selymes to maneuver through the defense. Máté Kántor was a little too slow when Rajmund Markó got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bálint Túri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Bálint Túri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bálint Túri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Márton Gál made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakab Nyitrai in the 62nd minute of play forced FC Budapest's goalkeeper Máté Kántor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zsigmond Sámuel fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szentgotthárd's protests and gave Zsigmond Sámuel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Endre Lukács hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Budapest's Kristóf Kállai got a free kick in the 76th minute. FC Budapest's Máté Kántor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zsigmond Sámuel in the 77th minute of play. Endre Lukács hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes FC Budapest got a freekick which was hit by András Bánhegyi. Ignác Sinkó took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Máté Kántor. Máté Kántor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. FC Budapest succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Szentgotthárd had controlled the match.
