Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) FC Budapest's Bálint Túri started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bálint Túri got free with János Görög in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Márton Gál during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. János Görög made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Bálint Túri sent off a good shot on target. In the 17thth minute of the game Rajmund Markó who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Budapest's Máté Kántor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Máté Kántor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rajmund Markó in the 34th minute of the match. FC Budapest's Máté Kántor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignác Sinkó in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, Szentgotthárd's János Görög got control of the ball when Bálint Túri tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 46 played minutes Szentgotthárd got a freekick which was hit by Gábor Sebestyén.

The wind increased when Rajmund Markó made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Szentgotthárd defense, Bálint Túri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of János Görög. The Szentgotthárd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that János Görög should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute, László Mátrai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. János Görög showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoltán Selymes, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. János Görög showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristóf Kállai in the 78th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Ignác Sinkó notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Budapest's Máté Kántor. Máté Kántor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ignác Sinkó had several of the FC Budapest's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Máté Kántor as he didn't even see the shot coming. Szentgotthárd's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
