The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gábor Kásás was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 5 minutes into the match. Gábor Kásás hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Attila Kossuth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnabás Kutas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Attila Kossuth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnabás Kutas in the 11th minute of play. Attila Kossuth was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Barnabás Kutas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Barnabás Kutas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Ede Szalontai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dávid Fekete went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Attila Kossuth was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Ottó Veres capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ottó Veres really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. In the 34th minute Ottó Veres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Kossuth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Nagyváradi AC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Renátó Marton hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dávid Fekete made a kick off. Dávid Fekete could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ede Szalontai made a huge save. Imre Tandori's late challenge caught a Nagyváradi AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Imre Tandori helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Krisztián Magyar fired a really elegant long shot, but Ede Szalontai threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Thanks to some nice moves Dávid Fekete could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Ede Szalontai however easily saved by the left post. After 82 played minutes Nagyváradi AC got a freekick which was hit by Krisztián Magyar. Sándor Jósa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Ede Szalontai skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Attila Kossuth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ottó Veres in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Barnabás Kutas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Kossuth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Green Zombies's Kálmán Veres got a free kick in the 94th minute. Green Zombies's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
