An unexpectedly hard shot by Tamás Tímár in the 7th minute of play forced Várdomb's goalkeeper Ottó Szigeti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the game, István Deák recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ottó Szigeti. István Deák showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by István Deák in the 19th minute of play forced Várdomb's goalkeeper Ottó Szigeti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Várdomb's goalkeeper Ottó Szigeti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Géza Szily. Attila Váradi kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Ottó Szigeti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from István Deák in the 37th minute of play. Kristóf Nagy kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Várdomb's zone, János Szőcs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ottó Szigeti came out of the goal and János Szőcs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's Gergely Dudás got a free kick in the 47th minute. When Csaba Bács fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Várdomb's protests and gave Csaba Bács a yellow card for diving instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Botond Bodor made the kick off in the second half. Elemér Pálffy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but András Huszti made a huge save. András Huszti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Botond Bodor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute István Deák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ottó Szigeti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Tamás Tímár hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, István Deák hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. István Deák recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elemér Pálffy kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Csaba Bács hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The supporters of Várdomb booed when Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gergely Dudás didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Attila Váradi scored to the left of an out of position András Huszti, making the score, 2-2. In the 87th minute, Attila Váradi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Géza Szily had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ottó Szigeti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tamás Tímár, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Várdomb's Ottó Szigeti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Géza Szily in the 93rd minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
