Álmos Simon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's András Huszti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ákos Szalontai in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Szajk LC's Ákos Szalontai ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind András Huszti. András Huszti yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. When István Deák fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's protests and gave István Deák a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE got a freekick which was hit by István Deák. In the 47th match minute, Szajk LC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rajmund Szepesi to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Géza Szily made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Géza Szily during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
